    When do you need an electrical inspection?

    In most cases, an electrical inspection is required for electrical work. Only Licensed Electrical Contractors are authorized to carry out certain work without a permit. The permit must be taken out by the person carrying out the work. Homeowners can take out permits for work they carry out on their own home. Anyone else that performs electrical work on their home must be a Licensed Electrical Contractor with a permit and insurance. Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) Authorized Contractor Program (ACP), gives you the peace of mind that this contractor has consistently carried out code-compliant work.

    • Electrical Service Changes

    Electrical panel upgrades from fuses to breakers or upgrading your service to 100 or 200 Amps can be easily carried out in one day. If the meter base is inside the house it will be moved out, if necessary, at the same time as the service change.

    All coordination and arrangements with Hydro will be carried out by us.

    We are also fully capable of installing multiple gang meter bases for apartments or townhouses.

    Safety Tip: Always use the correct size fuse. Replacing a fuse with one of a larger size can cause excessive currents in the wiring and possibly start a fire.
